Re Ring of 13 versus 12+1, John Baldwin says that the "Ring of 13" is common
parlance. I would be interested to know by whom?

However, before people dive in with more feedback (John - I hope you see
this as feedback rather than criticism), perhaps John would confirm whether
this is a question up for review or not.

(Since other examples are coming in: Canterbury Cathedral ordered a ring of
12 in 1980 with 2 semitones, and that is what they are considered to be ...
never in my knowledge has 13 been rung - despite my best efforts :) )
