Better late than never - re the correspondance about Prinknash Abbey bells 2
weeks ago. I have finally tracked down a small guidebook c.1975 which gives
the following particulars:-

1) 26½" 3-3-27 E
2) 27½" 4-1-12 D#
3) 29½" 4-3-18 C#
4) 32½" 6-2-10 B
5) 37" 10-0-4 A
6) 38½" 11-3-18 G#
7) 44½" 15-3-1 F#
8) 49" 21-3-1 E

It also says "they have been chiming at Prinknash in a temporary structure
for over 40 years, waiting for their belfry." So perhaps one day....

The trebles are a bit on the light side, but I'm sure modern hanging
techniques could overcome this if they were ever hung for ringing.
