Borden near Sittingbourne and the Hatch foundry was at Ulcombe, both 
in Kent."

Correct, although both were probably itinerant to a certain extent.
Joseph Hatch is buried at Broomfield church. Much of his Will is published
in Stahlschmidt "Church Bells of Kent".
