"I've had emails from several within the bell trade..."

I guess that someone has pointed out that St Paul's has more than one tenor
clapper. The WI is normally used at all times except for peals, when an SG
is used. Both have broken in their time. I would assume that it would be
cheaper to repair a WI clapper than replace an SG one? Not really my field
of expertise.
