Bell Notes

Remember that what constitutes particular notes has changed,
(c.100/120 years ago, I think). A is now 440Hz, where as before it
was slightly different, (help me here, Bill!).

Also the given note of a bell has always been approximate, nearer F
than F# = F, for instance. Putting these together accounts for many
differences.

Another major reason is, erm, quoted notes are genuinely sometimes
wrong!
