Much appreciated, though I think that applies to the data and not the 
resultant sound!

I am actually surprised to discover the difference was as great as 28 
cents. Is that my unmusical ear, or is it really not very easy to 
distinguish the two, particularly when the hums are quite close? 
Does the flat 3rd bell add to the effect?
