In researching details of rings of bells for my personal records of
towers visited, I have recently obtained the following details of
Easton-in-Gordano, Somerset:
1. 33" 7-1-4 C 1784 W Bilbie
2. 32¾" 6-1-17 Bb 1634 R Perdue
3. 35" 6-2-19 Ab 1831 J Rudhall
4. 34¼" 5-3-4 G 1634 R Perdue
5. 41¾" 12-1-24 F 1634 R Perdue
6. 48¾" 18-3-14 Eb 1784 W Bilbie
Has anyone ever seen a stranger table of weights and diameters? The
fourth is the real odd-ball; presumably it was supplied at the same
time as the second and fifth, but on a much thinner scale.
