I'm no expert but one day I would like to compile a list of all the bells
they cast. I'm currently working on 3 lists.
L&J Bells cast before 1880 & after 1919.
L&J Bells weighing over a ton.
Towers containing 3 or more of their bells.
At Ilfracombe SS P&J, bells 3, 5, 6, 7 & 8 are L&J 1876 and 1 & 2 are 1923.
The 1894 tenor at St Thomas, Bristol, is my favourite L&J bell. I think E
Teignmouth (8) of 1897 and Market Lavington (6) of 1876 are both good and I
gather East Ardsley and Godshill are also good.
