Chris Povey is correct in saying that there was a big reduction in weight of
the tenor at Castlemorton, but this was not as a result of the recent
tuning.

The published (estimated) tenor weight was 9.5 cwt
The weight prior to tuning was 7-0-7
The current weight is 6-3-18

Tuning accounts for just 17lb of the weight reduction - the estimated weight
was therefore about 25% in error!
