Two bells (4 and 5) were sold to C.H. Potts in 1933. The others remained in=
the tower until December 1978. The two trebles are now at Kimcote (Leics).=
The others were scrapped.

The date was 1933 not 1938 (which comes from "Dove"). Having checked his no=
tebook, I am fairly sure that he misread his own notes (made in 1938 when o=
nly four bells remained) when penning a note on Lightcliffe for the Bellrin=
ger's Guide.=20
