[Bell Historians] Re: Chime and chime again

It has just occurred to me that I too have heard this chime, on my last 2
visits to Birmingham (the last of which was this weekend). Funny how you can
read an email without actually thinking about it!

The bells were quite loud, sounded hemispherical or major 3rd, and certainly
sounds consistent with DLC's ascertion that the bells are synthetic.
