Almost certainly stolen, I'm afraid. The hour bell was stored at the 
Eden Vale PWD works from which it disappeared, (the works have since 
been redevloped and nothing was discovered remotely bell shaped) and 
the quarters were in the new civic centre car park, I believe, from 
whence they also disappeared.
