Pitch of bells

I too am very interested in answers to this question - I suspect the 
answer is that there are none, Simpson or otherwise. I keep meaning 
to write an article explaining it all. Time!

Has anyone heard Gloriosa at Erfurt (on my site)? This bell has a 
secondary strike which is roughly a major third, which I think sounds 
smashing.
