[Bell Historians] inaccuracies in RCHM publications

> That's nothing to the Wiltshire VCH, which usually quotes H.B. Walters' Church Bells of Wiltshire, published 1927. Quite apart from the lack of updates the VCH will use Walters' quotes from Lukis' which were often inaccurate. In a recent volume the compilers seem to have asked the incumbent about the bells in his church, who then qoutes Walters himself. 

Ah well, if they quoted Walters accurately that's at least something. The
RCHM don't even seem to be able to quote a perfectly clear source without
mangling the information almost beyong recognition!
