As this list has something of a fascination with Llewellins and James
bells, I thought people might be interested to know that East Ardley
ringers have a website with details of their bells, which are one of the
few complete L&J rings. It's at

The website says:

'The bells [cast in 1883] are the oldest of only three such peals by
Llewellins & James remaining in existence in the world and as such are
listed in the 'Preserved Bells' schedule of the council for the care of
churches.'

Does this refer to peals of 8 by L. & J., as Market Lavington has an 1876
peal of six by them.
And very nice they are too.
