J Bailey & W H Bailey were clockmakers at Salford Lancs.( See RW 25.3.1994
p275)
There are quite a number of bells with their name on them. However many were
cast by other founders, e.g:
the 5 at Auckland Cathedral (ex Ferry Buildings)of 1912 have Charles Carr
lettering
Taylors cast 11 bells for them in the period 1867-80.
