Well, we've already touched on the difference between bell fittings and
bell ringing history. I've always taken an active interest in the
latter, rather that the former. My professional work, however, has been
concentrated in historical musicology. Obviously a topic which has no
relevance at all to this discussion.

Perhaps I'm not worthy of such exalted company, and should abandon any
future historial work in this area. Happy now?
