I do remember, from my Shropshire days (1970's) the frame at Pontesbury. Here, the front five bells are hung the normal way - alongside the tower walls but the tenor is hung diagonally in the centre. Relying on 30 years memory, I believe it was a wooden frame. I don't know of any others like this. Rixchard Stevens.
