re; ringing in Oldham

I have been sent a reference from Bell News to a David Taylor from Oldham,
Lancs,who moved to Wiltshire and taught bands to ring Grandsire Triples in
Bradford and Trowbridge. In 1798 the Bradford band rang a half-peal and in
1799 Holt's 10-part peal, with Taylor conducting from the treble.
Apparently the same peal was rung at Trowbridge.

Does anyone know anything about David Taylor?
