[Bell Historians] CCC Appointments

I wonder if George Dawson would be prepared to share with us full details 
of the process by which he was appointed to the Bells & Clocks Committee of 
the CCC.

The appointment process has been questioned on a number of occasions in The 
Ringing World and the question has never been properly answered as far as I 
can tell.

Can he also clarify his responsibilities in relation to the CCC's "list" ?
