[Bell Historians] CCC

Whilst Bristol St Thomas is with The Churches Conservation Trust, you can be
rest-assured that the bells, inc the L&J tenor, will be safe from the
attentions of the bell-tuner, et al! The Trust does not have its own
schedule of bells for preservation, as per the CCC, however, it does follow
the spirit of the Code of Practice. In effect and largely on account of its
finite financial resources, there is little money available for bell
repairs. That said, funds are being made available for a small number of
selected projects but these will require matching local funding to qualify.
