[Bell Historians] NV bells

I hope that I am not stating the obvious but an the1858 NV 2nd that started 
life at St. Maries in Sheffield and subsequently moved to to Moseley was 
numbered 1985. One might assume that the # mark was an undecipherable number due to 
corrosion that we have seen so much of on Naylor Vickers bells. - Howard E. J.
