Derwent Woodlands

I think we have discussed Derwent before, on this list, in response 
to a question I asked. I can't remember when, nor what my question 
was!

There was always a rumour when I was a lad growing up in the area 
that some of the bells or metal went to Chelmorton, but I have no 
provenance for this. If two of the crowns did end up at Scarcliffe 
(near Bolsover?), that is interesting, as it is quite a long way away.

There is a book about the submersion of Derwent beneath Ladybower - 
Silent Valley, by Vic Hallam - with pictures of the church and 
village.
