[Bell Historians] Non-Diatonic Tuning

I can think of a number in the Taunton area. I think the following are
correct, although I haven't rung at any of them for a few years:

West Bagborough (6) - Lydian
Stawley (5) - Lydian
Durston (5) - Locrian (Nasty!)

Nynehead (6) - formerly described in Dove as Minor, but really just
out-of-tune. The 4th and 5th are noticeably sharp to the others.

Cothelstone (6) - the out-of-tune ring par excellence! Pretty church behind
red sandstone manor house at the foot of the Quantocks: an idyllic location,
in fact. The 3rd and tenor
are very flat, the tenor so much so that there is a gap of something
approaching three semitones between the back two. They also go like the
sides of houses, if they go at all - the tenor particularly doesn't like dry
weather or very damp weather.
