There were. One is the venerable society from Leeds, Kent who, as has been
said, rang the extent of Major, as well as the first peal of PB Caters and
other such notable performances in Kent. The other is Chris Cooper's
"Ancient Society of Efquire Leedf (Kent) Youthf" which comprises himself and
a couple of his little friends (although I gather he is recruiting anyone
who has the right cut of Victorian suit and dummy watch and chain).

I wonder if a more appropriate collective for the Leeds (Yorks) ringers
could be invented? One for the Fods list perhaps.
