'Sorry I should have written "Change Ringing, The History of an English Art"
Volume 3 (pp156-168)which is wholly devoted to that City in Yorkshire and
nothing to do with that Village of Kent (or is that a Kentish Village?).

You were right first time - Leeds is a Village of Kent (God's Own County)
rather than Kentish.
