Leicester Gents

I was indulging in my new hobby this lunchtime examining the Gillett &
Johnston tuning books. I came across one entry (bell no. 132) for a 33½ inch
bell weighing 7-0-15 destined for "Gent's" Leicester.

I wonder what the purpose of such a bell would be? Perhaps Fr David should
investigate ... well, it beats these stories about badger spotting! :)
