True, but is it actually cheaper? Once you've got the scanning done, you can burn them onto CDs for very little cost, and quite a few books would probably fit on one CD. Surely this must be cheaper than the cost of printing books?

Do you know of any publishers who would consider doing facsimile reprints of such books? Are Kingsmead books of Bath who reprinted Sharpe's Berkshire (among others) still around?
