[Bell Historians] Cardinal Wolsey - did he provide bells?

There are many such traditions concerning the origins of particular bells,
and although many of them may well be true concrete evidence is often
lacking. One of the most common is the tradition that bells originated from
monastic houses - there are several examples in Yorkshire: the tenors at
Bedale and Thirsk to name two.
