I visited for TCCT on 9/12/1999.

I put the frame (intended for 4 bells) at mid-late 16th.c. The churchwarden=
s' accounts for 1624 record payments of =A313. 10s. 4d. to Thomas Franklyn =
for work to the bells and frame. It is possible that the additional bracing=
to the frame dates from this time.

Most of the ironwork seems to date from either the late 18th or early 19th =
centuries.

The headstock of the treble was replaced and the wheel repaired in about 19=
80 by Jeff Hawkins, a local farmer. Other minor repairs where carried out a=
t the same time.
