I put vetinary grade castor oil on the bearings at Strensham, on the advice 
of Arthur Jopp who also said he used to mix it with Russian tallow in the 
summer months to make it a bit thicker. You should be able to get castor oil 
from your local agricultural suppliers. I have no idea where to get tallow 
from these days!
