Lock Nuts These seem usually to be put together with the thinner nut on top. However I saw once in an engineering journal that this is wrong, the top nut is the one with the most strain (the bottom one being relieved by the pressure of the top one) and therefore the thicker one should be on top. Anyone any ideas? John David
