Whilst looking on the web for a bit more information on the current 
whereabouts of the former Regal, Marble Arch carillon, I found this 
wonderful photograph of the Gillett Freedom Bell at the docks:

>From this picture, it looks as if the bell was shipped hung in its 
frame. This brings one to speculate if it would have started to ring 
during passage in a rough sea?!!!
