"I see that there is an ad for the dedication of the sharp 2nd at Southwark
on the RW website, which states that "The dedication touch on the new light
eight will be rung by Senior Past Masters of the ASCY." Clearly, then, the
bell will be hung by 14th May so has presumably been cast by now. Does
anybody have details of it?"

It is inscribed as follows:

1905 - 2005 / To celebrate the Centenary of the Diocese of Southwark / and
inauguration of St Saviour's as the Cathedral Church / and to remember James
G A Prior 1913 - 1994, Bellringer / Past Master & Secretary of The Ancient
Society of College Youths / The Very Revd Colin Slee - Dean / Susan Adams &
Peter Floyd - Wardens
