I did hear that when George went to Washington for a couple(?) of
weeks to teach a band there with others (I wonder who they were?), that
he told his wife that he was going out to buy a loaf of bread. I
assume that he brought one back with him. By all accounts they did a
good job over there. Was it the early '60's?
