Don't know but I do have a handbell (damaged) with J.F.Mallaby, Barnby Do=

on the leather handle. There are no distinguishing marks on the bell itse=

other than the number (16). The note is in four places on the leather cap=
.

Bill Butler suggests that Mallaby obtained his handbells from Shaw or
Warner.

No he did'nt, he cast his own handbells from 1900 to 1916 some of his pat=
terns till exist.
