'Well, the CofE is giving a lead. Having changed Ripon to Ripon and Leeds
General Synod now propose to change Southwell to "Southwell and
Nottingham".'

Does this mean we are going to see yet another church decide that it should
be called a "Minster". There does seem to be a proliferation of these now. I
recently visited Doncaster and Rotherham, both of which have decided to get
their local diocese to up their own status.
