The chimes are one and the same. When the chimes at Westminster were 
put in, they copied the existing chimes at the University Church of St 
Mary the Great. I don't have info before more about who composed the 
chime, but suffice to say that the bells that first ever struck this 
chime still hang in the tower at Great St Mary's.

The chimes are therefore known "Cambridge chimes". Only the ignorant 
refer to them as Westminster.
