[Approximately 47 inches. One cannot be exact because the bell has been
substantially skirted to sharpen the note. This is not the bell in the ring
which was recast by Barwell: that was the 3rd. It is a pre-Reformation
bell. The hanging was indeed by Mallaby, in 1880.
