Sunderland Town Hall

As I said I would last weekend, today I visited The Bridges Shopping 
Centre in Sunderland, where the old Town Hall clock used to be in.  It 
is no longer there and there is nothing to indicate where it went to.

As for the bells, the local ringers were reasonably sure that that the 
quarter bells were stolen from storage at the Civic Centre, but were 
divided as to what happened to the hour bell. Some are sure it was 
stolen and others equally sure that it remains in storage somewhere!
