Five bells 1914. Largest 24-2-11. All with flat tops and timber deadstocks.
The four smaller bells inscribed on the waist: JOHN TAYLOR & CO.
LOUGHBOROUGH. STOBTE MIG AAR 1914 and then a small bell over which looks
like a rams horn. The inscriptions on the inscription bands are in Danish as
is that on the waist of the largest. Taken from a photograph in Taylor's
Foundry.
Another photograph shows two bells for Juelsminde 1912 but no further
details. Similar lettering but cast-iron stocks for wheels. I have been
unable to find them listed in the Taylor Catalogue.
Neil Skelton.
