Like GD I'm aware of the odd case where George VI's name was substituted but
not of any bells with Edward VIII's name on them.
Although the subject is off-topic, if any one wants a complete list of
Edward VIII pillar boxes (there are no lamp or wall boxes) one is available
from the Letter Box Study Group. We've got one of the large A size ones at
Greaves on the soutrh side of Lancaster.
