[Bell Historians] Cromwell's churches?

I recall that the tenor at Wootton (Beds), cast in 1641 by James Keene of Woodstock, Oxon, is inscribed - unsuccessfully - "God Save Our King".

  Can't find the reference, but H.B. Walters claimed that no bells were cast
  in England in 1642.  This seems to be the case in Wiltshire, but are there
  any 1642 bells elsewhere?
