The six at Smarden are also superb, but it is quite a different thing 
to cast trebles for a twelve that work satisfactorily.   For the 
trebles at Saffron Walden to have been recast so soon after they were 
manufactured suggests something was seriously wrong with them.

I have always considered the present ring to be a particularly 
satisfying light twelve.
