It is with very great sadness that I report the news that Nick Davies 
of Lydd, Kent, passed away on Saturday afternoon.

Nick was a fine ringer, a very knowledgeable bell historian and a very 
dear friend to many of us on this list.   He fought a valiant and brave 
fight against cancer, which was an inspiration to everyone who met him.

I'm sure that the thoughts and prayers of all of us will be with Brenda 
and his family at this time.

May he rest in peace.
