Rather a lot of mis-information and doubtful supposition flying around on this one! I hope the following notes (from an entirely reliable source) will settle the matter
The original bells (Mears & Stainbank 1900) were 6-2-7, 6-3-14, 7-2-11, 9-0-8, 10-3-10, 12-1-7, 15-3-0, 22-0-17 as supplied. There is another set of weights for when the bells were returned in 1962, but (in my view) the ones given here should be regarded as the correct ones.
The weights and diameters of the present (1962) bells are 1 25.25" 4-1-21, 2 26.25" 4-1-21, 3 28" 5-1-3, 4 29" 5-2-2, 5 31" 6-0-22, 6 33" 7-1-5, 7 35" 8-0-15, 8 37" 9-2-1, 9 41" 12-2-20, 10 46" 18-0-20.
