It is C& G MEARS FOUNDERS LONDON 1846 and about 14-cwt. Canons. I think CJP found a day-book entry for it but cannot trace the communication. It used to hang in the tower of the Chapel at The Towers.

Does anyone know the details of the bell that sits just inside the door of the Hex 'ride' at Alton Towers? I could just make out the words 'under London' and the date 1840 on the inscription band but it was too dark to see anyomore.

  Regards
