the weights of the bells are different to on Dove. I guess the Dove
weights are correct if the bells have been retuned? Looks like the
tenor has lost 1.5cwt when retuned.

It was probably never that heavy in the first plcase - most of the weights 
on that link you give appear to be estimates, not measured weights.
