There are conflicting details to hand as regard to the founder of the 5 
bells in Thurnham RC church. Can anyone confirm the name of the 
founder, date of casting and any other details. Particularly were they 
the first ring of bells cast by J Taylor working alone, probably in 
1847 or 1848?
