I notice that the report in the Western Morning News states, "they are 
of particular value as they were made up of 70 per cent copper."   

You can't beat an open advert to every thief in the country, 
proclaiming how valuable bell metal is can you!

It's rather like the lady here in Perth recently who advertised $20,000 
worth of jewellery in her local newspaper   Unfortunately, she gave her 
address and then wondered why she got burgled!
